When I walked into Limen Recovery and Wellness, I was hopeless, ashamed, and filled with guilt. I had multiple attempts at recovery and a long list of institutions under my belt. I should have had a degree in self-sabotage. Limen taught me that it’s okay to not be okay at times. The treatment and therapy they gave helped me begin the healing process. They helped me find my voice and the ability to stand up for my beliefs so that I could grow spiritually, mentally, and physically. I started step work and got a sponsor during my stay. They introduced me to a wonderful fellowship and the other residents in the house became my brothers. This house opened their arms to me, and my time there helped reunite my family. I found gratitude in daily life that I never felt when I was under the influence. I learned a routine that allows me to grow and no matter what happens, I never have to use substances to get through it. Limen Recovery and Wellness gave me the tools I need to start my life over.
