Our Board of Directors consists of community leaders who oversee the governance of Limen Recovery + Wellness. Through strategic expansion, the Board of Directors is currently running a capital campaign to raise $5,000,000.00. This campaign aims to support both programmatic and capital expansion for the establishment of our new headquarters and recovery center situated at 819 Washington St., Wilmington, DE.
Throughout our 50-year history, Limen has quietly pioneered recovery services in Delaware and the United States, often being referred to as the “miracle you’ve never heard of in your backyard.” Our roots trace back to 1969 when a group of women recognized the challenges of substance use disorder and established the Limen House with the support of the local community. Their dedication has laid the foundation for our remarkable growth, especially since 2016.
