Recovery Community Center

Providing Access to Our Community

Limen Recovery + Wellness, recentered at the 819 Washington location, provides an ideal setting for a Recovery Center that offers progressive levels of care from the Recovery Resource Center-based programming and screening to IOP, inpatient, and sober living. In this expansion, Limen Recovery and Wellness aims to:

  • Provide greater access to mental health care for the uninsured/underserved.
  • Provide a model that addresses health conditions in underserved communities struggling with mental health and addiction.
  • Provide a pathway to address social determinants of health through our programming.
  • Create a desirable point of service and learning for corporations, local nonprofits, educational and medical institutions, and faith-based organizations.
  • Provide a framework for comprehensive recovery services in the state of Delaware
  • Provide a model for outreach in unserved areas and invisible populations, including but limited to minority communities, LGBTQ communities, and rural communities downstate.

While meeting these public health needs of mental health and addiction treatment, we are strengthening the social fabric of Delaware. We are currently in partnership and or collaboration with Christiana Care, Hero Help, DSAMH, and the Lieutenant Governors’ Office. Moreover, we have developed lasting and respected relationships with private sector companies and foundations.

Partners We Work With

Many ancillary services are necessary to provide our clients the best opportunity for long-term recovery. Our valuable partnerships with other social service agencies in the community help our program be as successful as it is over the last forty years.
